According to asiafan at TTA forum, Asia 62's official theme is 30th Anniversary of Asia: Giong Nhac Anh Bang.
It will be at the Longbeach Convention Center on Saturday, July 11.

in other words, more covers and maybe a few new Anh Bang songs. DX
but i'm kinda confused; Asia's 20th anniversary was in 2001, so how can their 30th anniversary be only 8 years later?! @_@

I've been dying for a solo!! Come on now it's just one song for AM...it not really fair though since AM have been getting duets, while other people have both performances, solo and duets mixed together....even Thuy Huong had a solo "money money" it's about time AM get one!!

Totally agree. All the singers (except Asia 4) had solos on stage but AM.

Asia doesn't listen - honestly. Just because of that graphic design contest was held, I still want to see something where fans can do other things.

I think in 1979, Anh Bang started intention found Asia. But he'd wait until 1981, he was really found Asia with his daughter Thy Van. So now they're celebrate 30 years their relationship.

I respect Mr. Anh Bang to the fullest, but DUDE HOW MANY DVDS ARE THEY GONNA MAKE WITH COVERS ALL THE WAY?!?! ;_;

I don't have problems with covers; it's just the fact that they reuse the same old covers over and over and over again. grrrrr.
besides, Bac Anh Bang's music really isn't my cup of tea. T_T

Anyway, I would like to request Asia will let AM to sing one of 3 songs of Anh Bang such as " Anh Cu Hen, Tinh La Soi To, Tinh Yeu Tuyet Voi". I'm prefer that AM to get a solo.

^ It'll be nice to hear her sing "Tinh Yeu Tuyet Voi", but it's more of a winter song. It wouldn't really be appropriate for the summer? o_o

2. Mat nhau mua dong (co' Asia Band) - thien kim earth tone gown with long train, she looks good. Tinh nguoi vien xu, Phillip Huy

Truc Ho gioi thieu 3 linh hon cua nhac Asia: Sy Dan, Vu tuan duc, Truc sinh. all 4 of them wore in tuxedo, trinh trong, & dep trai.

3. Truc Dao - Tuong Nguyen & Tuong Khue, Co' 4 co^ gai' mua' quat rat la de thuong. Ao dai cung rat dep

4. Tango Di vang - My Huyen mac ao dai den nhung, cam^` khan lua dai mau do. Sau do Thuy Huong hat Tango Tim, mac dress mau do (why?, the song is Tango Tim !!!)

5. Chuyen hoa thien ly (co' Asia band)- Manh Dinh /full song
Chuyen hoa sim- Dan Nguyen/ full song. Dan Nguyen wore white suit with a V neck lilac color, vien trang shirt, oh boy, or OH MAN, wooohoouu, so sexy.

6. Hanh Phuc Lang thang (co' Asia Band). Ho Hoang Yen. Tam hon co don , Minh thong, Pham Khai tuan, Chau tuan.

16. Cho Ky niem mua dong (co' Asia Band). Y Phung. Anh biet em di chang tro ve, Tuan Vu~

17. Ky Dieu (co' Asia Band), Quoc Khanh & Le anh Quan

18. Tinh yeu tuyet voi. Anh Minh with leather charcoal out fit with jacket & tall boots.

19. Tu thuo yeu em ( co' Asia band). Lam Nhat Tien.

20. Khoc me dem mua (co' Asia band) Diem Lien so cute with ao' dai mau solid pink top & phia' duoi thi` la` loai vai ren. & Gia Huy

21.Tinh le loi (co' Asia band). Nhu Quynh. OK, Nhu Quynh's Fans you should be very happy with this number. She wore red japanese gown with 3 long red train. Hair & accessories are Japanese design. She was pretty.

22. Ao dai Que Huong, Vu Khanh w. 10 dancers wore light yellow/sheer white ao dai w/ non la. About 12 ca si~ nu wore ao' dai & headpiece (wedding style). Very nice "light" "fashion show" style. At the end, they kind of mua' with slow movement. Other male singers then came out with red ao' dai. A big birthday cake was there. Nhac si Anh Bang di ra chao` khan gia. enjoyable scene.

Love love Anh Minh in Tinh Yeu Tuyet Voi, so up beat, so sexy and .. super .. hot. The choreography did a very job in this number
(Infact, this is one of the ONLY FEW gơod choreography in entire program.)

FANTASTIC! at least that’s the first word i can say. when concentration of musicality has met top of the art in artistry, you can say that your dream in living a world filled with just melody, charming refrain and alluring, gorgeous Muses has became reality. that is what i felt after attending this superb festival, celebrating the immense work of the great song composer: bác anh bằng, who has dedicated all his life to music through trung tam asia in the last 30 years.

without exaggeration, it is to note the outstanding work of trung tam asia and especially, the exceptional effort of all asia’s musicians for crafting number by number into a pure, unequaled jewel. indeed, each number has its own trait of beauty and represents an exquisite work of all song composers who wrote with all their heart, arrangements for all the musicians. each song, presented in an extreme grace in this show, is the own soul of the singer who, like Orpheus, had poured all the love in his/her heart to rock the audience, to honor the beautiful work of the song composer. we can also say that each song is a cherished baby of trung tam asia.

beside stunning numbers, there were very informative and not less interesting confessions (that i wont miss to share with all of you after the detail of each number) from all singers and associates of trung tam asia along with the great work of the 3 legendary mc’s of trung tam asia: chú nam lộc, anh việt dzũng and the very charming, cute, endearing thùy dương. the show had been led with professionalism, elegance and courtesy.

the wardrobe was impressive! for both female and male singers and even dancers! it is a festival of appealing and glamorous dresses and a delightful, very bewitchingly charming collection of áo dài, wore by female singers and dancers.

may be you will ask yourself why i didn’t touch to even a word about the stage. it’s empty! there’s almost nothing to say about the stage for this time. it was very gorgeous too, especially with the lighting but although without big decoration, we don’t feel the emptiness because all had been filled by the music and the performer. well, more details will be coming in

^ It's rather best to just have the review of AM only since I guess we're probably going to spazz a lot more on AM than other artists.

Honestly, I hope the reviews are good... 'cause I want to be able to actually like this one and BUY it after a long period of time boycotting Asia.

Finally, Anh Minh got a solo performance with the most favorite song of mine called Tinh Yeu Tuyet Voi. I'm so happy. Because Anh Minh just got only one time solo in Asia Dvd 47. And then, Asia kept let her duet with other singers. For me, Anh Minh has deverved for a solo. She was a great singer. I think Anh Minh's version better than Shayla's version. I can't wait until Dvd come out.

Anh Minh so sexy! Her singing was very good .. very professional, very pretty. An excellent number .. having most audience claps and cheers throughout the show!! Her lyric singing was very clear, and she was better than Shayla in 1997.

And then something about Lynda Trang Dai .. I don't get it XD

^ ROFL, you know me too well. Sometimes I do get Vietnamese, but I'm like, "WTF?!?!" But I guess the last thing about LTD was that AM might be like her back then. o.O;;

^Yeah.....It said that if Asia keeps investing in Anh Minh like that, she has promise in becoming the next Lynda Trang Dai of the past.
