^^^ I know....like before VSE shoot their MTV in Shanghai and then TINH also does theirs in Shanghai, anyways back on topic, hope AM get a solo again or aleast perform in more than one number...but I doubt it since she's working with Asia...

^^^I don't think so..i think that they're just doing memories of (you know whatever since its timeless memories???) if they're doing a war theme it would be 35 nam nhin lai instead of 55 years???

How will Asia ever surpass PBN if they do everything after pbn has done it but then do it worst. I mean Hard Rock Cafe doesnt even compare to Planet Hollywood at all. And this is not the first time they copy PBN for example they did tieng hat nhip tim or something after PBN already did it. And after that PBN did the songs from around the world the one where MT sang da khong yeu thi thoi, Asian did the little ocean theme where they went to different countries. I love Asia singers but they really do need to step up their game. Like PBN kno that MT is currently hot thats why she got to sing 3 TIMES in the vegas paris by night they should do the same for Anh Minh in order to promote her more. And I mean comon does Asia have any composers they sing all old songs...... So yea hope someone contradicts me thats more fun!

I'm looking forward to this show...but I hope they do it well.......
There are plenty of young composers too....I just hate that Asia won't highlight this fact. They're too scared that older adults might not like it...which is why they keep repeating old classic songs. WHICH IMO NEEDS TO STOP!! A few songs are okay.....but repetition gets super boring!

^ Especially since a new version of an old song cannot compete with a classic version. It's just not fair to the artist. Personally, I think Asia has a lot more talent and potential then PBN...they just need to allow that talent to come forward and bloom. I know that Asia's just trying to compete, but copying does not help their case at all. And oh how I wish Asia would cater more to the younger generation...aren't we the important ones?!

^ I totally agree. I feel like they need to target the younger generations....cuz they're the ones growing up and supporting Asia in the future....but a lot of my cousins and friends don't even watch or like viet ent. stuff....xD

I really really really really really hope AM gets another solo.....or at least perform several times! ^___^ =]

totally agree with you guys. i think Asia is just scared to take the risk of putting the younger generations in the spotlight cuz they fear of possibly losing their audience. as you can see Asia's target audience are mostly middle-aged, and a few army veterans.

but i think they should at least try letting the younger artists sing their originals...i mean with the old Asia 4, Cardin, Trish, Shayla, they were able to do their songs, why not let the new ones now? Asia has so much talented young singers and theyre not giving them the opportunity to prove it.

guess not alot of people contradict but at least you guys agree ha. Yea they dont promote their singers that well. Liek I have many opportunities to go to ASia shows since its always in long beach and my brother is not far from there but i really think is it worth enduring 5 hours jus for 5 mins of AM and 5 mins of DP and then theres a 90% chance that the song will be old too......

^ Totally agree with you about going to the shows. Which is why I have only been to 1 Asia taping. haha. I've said this before, but I only buy Asia products for AM & maybe QK & DP. And my mom is very close to boycotting them. XD

Asia should know that covers can rarely compare to originals. So why aren't they doing anything about it?!?!?!

Agree with everything you guys are saying. BOYCOTTING ASIA ROCKS! XD Dude, I should celebrate for staying this long. If they actually plan on really original things (I actually liked the idea of PBN's dancing with whatever idea...).

Which brings up another thing: Asia needs to kick out some singers. There are singers who I know drag my parents, my grandmother, and me to sleep. Honestly, on average, we watch like about 9-12 performances each DVD (does not include Hai Kich 'cause we always watch those).

I honestly wished it was like back then when there were actually at least 5 new songs in every Asia DVDs. D< What happened to that?!?! *kicks war themes.

A certain Asia performer and I were talking about this last year, and the person was talking about some things Asia lets that person do. It's if you are very well-received by the audience and actually speak up, Asia will allow you to show off your own song ("eventually"). And if you're not well-received, Asia will do whatever they can to just pair you up with someone who they believe you will do. Well, this performer never got to have a solo stage, and after another singer gave that person a chance to at least perform longer, the person was well-received. Thus, Asia allowed that person to have more time with their "solo".

And what's sad is that there's not much remaining singers left:
AM, TH, Doanh Doanh, Trish, Doanh Phi, QK, and probably the Ryeowook-looking guy (the one that had "joint-stage" with Trish on the Wedding Theme). Asia 4 is somewhere... floating around. Anyone else, woops, don't really notice 'em. Wouldn't it be awesome to see all of the young singers do an original?

But then again, Asia sets almost everything to the last minute. So most singers would havtah' be stuck singing covers since there's not much time to write an original (unless you're awesome and probably have a song stashed that fits the theme or can write one up quickly). Sigh...

I wonder if AM wrote Giac Mo Trong Vong Tay for this show or if she had it in her stash of music. ^__^
But two more weeks. WOOT*WOOT* Can't wait to see it.

Its really disappointing trying to share my love of ASIA artists....when my aunts and uncle aren't really fond of ASIA shows compared to PBN....xD

Although I don't think PBN is very original either...... their themes are really nice and they go big or go home. I wish ASIA would step up their game. They have sooooooo much potential that is getting wasted with "FEAR" of failure...>_<"

I dont think covers are horrible but I just think that Asia shouldnt sing footsteps of vietnam for 3 dvds in a row...... or dieu gi do they use that song 3 times already and also mai yeu nguoi thoi that been use 4 times. I dont really believe in covers for vietnam music because whoever rocks it owns it not the first singer. For example MT pho cu vang anh and Da ko yeu thi thoi. Or Tim dieu em ko biet and Am's nguoi thin mua dong is alot better than Nhu Quynh's. Plus originals doesnt mean that the singer have to write their own songs why doesnt Asia get songs from hoai an or nguyen van chung the good nhac si. Truc Ho songs are truly horrible he hit some with like vang trang tinh yeu..... I think it goes back to Asia is jus too cheap to buy new songs since people will still buy their dvds anyways. I mean the same group of people always buy the dvds no matter what ha.

^^Thanks for posting..but like everyone predicted, AM is back to sing half a song. To tell the truth, I prefer PBN more than Asia(because they have new music and themes), but the only thing that makes me watch Asia is because of ANH MINH!!!

There was 2 dvd of Asia back then that didn't have AM in it, I didn't even bother to glance at the cover, seriously......

And also, they need to stop repeating songs!!!! I see Tinh yeu-Tinh nguoi in this video...which is another repeat!!! UGH!! They use songs over and over again..like Chuyen hoa sim, Anh con no em, Con duong mau xanh, Dieu gi do, nhu vat nang, nguoi tinh mua dong....and much more...anyone wants to add more to the list???

SÂN KHẤU SÁNG, MODERN, ĐẸP, phần đông xài màu xanh blue cho những bài hát , có 2 screens trên cao 2 bên sân khấu, và một big screen background. Sân khấu được dựng lên đi ra thêm một khoảng rất gần khán giả (kiểu giống như Asia show Trầm tử Thiêng & Trúc Hồ)

ASIA BAND được dựng lên 2 bên của sân khấu đi ra, nhóm violinists (8 người) được ngồi cao lên , nổi bật phía trước bên tay trái của sân khấu. NICE set up. Ban nhạc, trống, Guitarists... phia trước bên tay phải sân khấu.

1) LIÊN KHÚC Gởi gió cho mây ngàn bay, Lá thư (ĐOÀN CHUẨN, TỪ LINH) - Lâm nhât Tiến, Nguyễn Hồng Nhung.

Lâm Nhật Tiến mặc suit trắng, áo shirt đen, bước ra sân khấu một mình, sau đó Nguyễn Hồng Nhung "bay" ra từ trên cao, dể thương, lạ mắt . NHN mặc áo gown đen, có train rất dài phía sau, nhiều màu. Dancers 6 nam, 6 nữ .

CHUYẾN ĐÒ VĨ TUYẾN (Lam Phương) - Hoàng Oanh ngâm thơ, trên màn ảnh chiếu cuộc di tản 1954, sau đó chiếu hình ảnh: đêm khuya, trăng sáng, và 1 chiếc ghe nhỏ .

2) RƯỚC TÌNH VỀ VỚI QUÊ HƯƠNG (Hoàng Thi Thơ)- Ngọc Huyền, mặc áo dài đỏ, sequin ở giửa tà áo dài . Sơn Ca bước ra sau với áo bà ba và tóc thắt bím, cầm nón lá. Dancers mặc áo dài sheer fabric, với design kiểu xường xám phần trên áo, đẹp, trẻ trung. Have to give designer credit for this lovely outfits.

3) Liên Khúc Trúc Phương ( MƯA NỬA ĐÊM, TÀU ĐÊM NĂM CŨ, NỬA ĐÊM NGOÀI PHỐ)- Thanh Thuý , áo dài đen có hoa nhỏ màu vàng gold, kim tuyến nhẹ , sheer ở tay.

4) ĐÊM ĐÔ THỊ (Y Vân) Ánh Minh & Mai Lệ Huyền . AM với red outfit, găng tay đen. MLH với kiểu áo dài màu fushia design theo kiểu mới, nhất là từ eo trở xuống .

5) AI NÓI VỚI EM - Minh Kỳ , Ngoc Minh & Tâm Đoan . Ngoc Minh mặc áo dài tím, loại vải lụa mềm, dịu dàng . Tâm Đoan áo dài trắng, quần đen, thuỳ mị với loại vải fabric cũng rất đẹp.

6) EM HIỀN NHƯ MA SOEUR (thơ Nguyễn tất Nhiên) TRẢ LẠI EM YÊU (PHẠM DUY)-Thanh Lan & Vũ Khanh. Thanh Lan tóc dài, với áo dài tím sheer, sequin hoa trắng vàng. Vũ Khanh với suit đậm màu grey, áo shirt màu tím.

7) TÌNH ANH LÍNH CHIẾN (Lam Phương)- MỸ HUYỀN,TƯỜNG NGUYÊN,TƯỜNG KHUÊ. Mỹ Huyền với áo dài đen, có gold design, và quần màu đỏ . Tường Nguyên và Tường Khuê cả hai mang fashionable kiếng cận, outfit grey, kiểu trẻ trung, hippy, cute.

8) KIM (Y Vân). Đoàn Phi & Thuỳ Hương. Có chiếc xe motocycle rất to dàn dựng ở giửa sân khấu . Đoàn Phi trong outfit trẻ trung màu grey, shirt màu green. Thuỳ Hương mặc outfit màu xanh, mang boots đen (xem hình của asiafan posted để có thêm ấn tượng nha các fan, vì outfit TH mặc hơi khó tả, nhưng rất "ses-zxy")

9) Liên Khúc -ĐÊM BUỒN TỈNH LẺ (Tú Nhi & Bằng Giang), NHỮNG ĐỒI HOA SIM, thơ Hữu Loan, nhạc Dzũng Chinh. Băng Tâm và Đan Nguyên, hát chung duet với nhau. Băng Tâm áo dài trắng với hoa thêu màu xanh da trời chạy dài theo tà áo, Đan Nguyên mặc quần màu trắng, áo shirt màu xanh da trời. Vải fabric áo BT & ĐN là Thai silk, đẹp và sang.

10) TRĂNG SƠN CƯỚC (Văn Phụng và Văn Khôi)- Nini, Vina, Hạ Vy, hát múa với dancers. Outfit và make up đẹp.

11) GIỌT BUỒN KHÔNG TÊN (Lê Minh Bằng) Phương Hồng Quế & Giang Tử. PHQ mặc áo dài xanh da trời với một tí ren trắng gần cổ áo. Giang Tử mặc đồ Lính .

12) HAI MÙA MƯA (Anh Bằng) -Y Phụng; Một Mai Giã Từ Vũ Khí (Duy Khánh) -Đặng Thế Luân - Y Phụng mặc áo dài nền áo là nhiều màu cam, xanh da trời, xanh green . Đặng Thế Luân trong suit grey, áo màu xàng nhạt .

13) DIỄM XƯA & HẠ TRẮNG (Trịnh Công Sơn)- Thiên Kim & Lệ Thu

14) Kịch CHÚ TƯ CẦU, Quang Minh, Hồng Đào, Lê Anh Quân, Y Phụng, Diểm Liên, Jonathan

15) BÀI KHÔNG TÊN SỐ 2 và BÀI KHÔNG TÊN CUỐI CÙNG (Vũ Thành An) -Hồ Hoàng Yến & Quốc Khanh . HHY mặc gown màu silver, có thêm phần vải khác loại mềm sheer màu xám nhẹ nhàng phía trước áo. QK mặc grey suit.

16) LÁ XANH MÙA HÈ (nhạc ngoại quốc, lời việt Tuấn Dũng) Mai Thanh Sơn và Lê Anh Quân MTS & LAQ ngồi trên 2 ghế hát trước, sau đó thì đứng lên ..

17) VŨNG LẦY CỦA CHÚNG TA (LÊ UYÊN PHƯƠNG) Diểm Liên và Nguyên Khang. Diễm Liên mặc gown màu beige, bare shoulder, tóc bới cao nhìn thật sang. Nguyên Khang mặc quần màu beige, áo shirt màu nâu, với neck bow mau` beige.

18) LIÊN KHÚC PHƯỢNG HOÀNG (YÊU EM, TÔI MUỐN, KHO TÀNG CỦA CHÚNG TA, **HUYỀN THOẠI MỘT NGƯỜI CON GÁI**) Đoàn Phi, Nguyên Khang, Mai Thanh Sơn, Quốc Khanh. Well nothing to look forward to for this dvd. Am only sang one song and its with that lady..... and doan phi got a 1/4 of a song...... gosh this looks so lame compare to PBN vegas show hahahaha. PBN had so many good and new songs in theirs and it was at planet hollywood.

Doan Phi and Thuy Huong are singing a song called "KIM" which is Krazim's name. LOL*

I'm so URKED by this dvd.....can't believe AM is back to half of a song.
I hope that means she's had more time to work on her album....I would choose that anyday!!!!

^^same here...I really don't like the arrangement of how the singers are singing in Asia. There are so many singers and that they sing half a song...I really can't support Asia if they keep on doing this and war themes...guess I'll buy AM CD only just to support her...

Btw, did I just see giot buon khong ten on the list??? Jeez, another repeat!!!!!!

Wow a repeat ASIA never does that (notice the sarcasm in my voice). Mary i didnt c the TH and DP one haha so i thought he had only one song. And some people on asia forum say this is a song ca dvd they are wrong song ca is when two people sing together asia always does this weird half song thing thats not callled song ca. Go watch some of the PBN song ca special and you'll know what a real song ca dvd is ha. Nhac yeu cau 2 WAS

I think PBN outfits show sophisication and class. But what TH is wearing is totally opposite lol... The cover looks kinda bland to me Asia been doing alot of these types of cover thos which I think is pretty cool the huge collage of singers. Make it look like there are alot of performers smart move.

The cover is a little bland...haha..but i think the mute colors are representing "memories" LOL*

And the outfits are more provocative...haha....I don't really like TH's ....xD I'm okay with everyone else's skin showing.....even TK's short dress xD ...i meant...it could be a wee bit longer....but its still cute....TH's looks...tacky. x/

Just because two people are singing together doesn't mean they have personal connections except that they work together and are probably acquaintances.

Haha, I don't watch PBN. xD But if they're doing the Dancing with Celebrities/Singers thing, I'm gonna say it's very tiresome.

How is it hard to believe? I don't watch PBN either. It's all a matter of preference. Generally, if people like Asia, they don't really watch PBN. And if they like PBN, they don't really watch Asia.

Anyways, I was really disappointed that, not only did AM only get to sing half a song, she only got to sing in the background for the last song. You could only hear her if you listen really really closely. What's up with that?!

And Yeah.....it did suck that AM barely got to sing in this show....but hey.....I'm gonna think positively about it....lol* The less singing she does for the shows...the more she does for her album...haha*
